The Commission usually holds meetings twice each month, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, starting at 7 p.m. in the Blumer Community Room in the basement of the town hall. Time and place are subject to change, and interested members of the public should call 508-532-5460 to confirm time and location of meetings. Conservation Commission meetings are open to the public, except if the commission is in executive session.
Meetings always begin with administrative items (such as the approval of minutes and the signing of documents.) Meetings then address wetland permit applications, informal discussions of pending wetland applications, wetland violations, land management, and public education issues with which the Commission is involved.
